Sundays at 9:00 and 10:30am

Children one through 3 years of age are cared for in a safe,loving environment by qualified personnel. Each week they enjoy a simple Bible based, age appropriate lesson. It is never too early to begin planting seeds for His Kingdom.

Baby Nursery

Babies six weeks old through learning to walk have a special place just for them. Loving arms are always available to hold them or play with them in a creative area made especially for babies and crawlers.

Caravan Kids                 

Sundays at 10:30 am

Caravan Kids embark on a weekly adventure incorporating large and small group activities in a fun filled environment for children Pre K
through children in first grade. The interactive worship service uses puppets, games, music, skits and crafts to build a strong knowledge of God and a close relationship with God.

Planet Kids                        

Sundays at 10:30am

Planet Kids is a “not of this world” ministry. This high energy worship service is exploding
with fun and excitement for children in grades 2-5. Themed curriculums sets the stage for
enthusiastic praise and worship, memorable characters that teach Bible truths,wild and wacky games that keep the kids involved in the learning. Each week “not your ordinary” object lessons and Bible stories that teach the life application of God’s Word in creative and memorable ways.

Mini Ministers

This is a worship  arts learning opportunity for children and teens. Creative skills taught include
worship flags, flying halos, puppets, skits dance and much more. Each year a major production is put together plus many opportunities arise to take the worship arts out into the community
at community fairs, mall events and even other churches. All children age 6 and up are welcome to participate. Check the web site to find

Vacation Bible School

Each year CrossRoads Community UMC offers Vacation Bible School to the entire community. The children will experience Bible stories in themed sets, participate in games and
creative crafts plus enjoy the fun and excitement of interactive praise and worship and zany skits and characters.

This year Bible School will be offered July 16th
through 20th, 2012 from 9:00am through noon. Register on the web site.

Community Outreach 

Many times of the year the children and youth take our unique flavor of children’s ministry out into the local community with worship arts
and special costumed character appearances.
We go to local malls and community fairs and even inner city churches tohare the love of God.
